About Us

Our Region

The Nepean Blue Mountains region spans the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury, Lithgow and Penrith local government areas. Covering more than 9,000 km² and home to around 392,000 people, the region includes outer metropolitan, regional and rural communities.

The Traditional Custodians of the lands in our area are the Darug, Wiradjuri and Gundungurra peoples.
