Mask Requests and PPE Package

Current Mask Guidance

We recognise that guidance in relation to wearing masks and PPE is being issued on a regular basis. Refer to the NSW Govt website for the latest guidance.

Each PHN is delivered (in stages) limited quantities of masks and PPE to provide local general practices, ACCHS (P2 and surgical masks), community pharmacists and eligible allied health providers (surgical masks only) within our region. Latest guidance is available on the Dept of Health .

Where can I source masks if I am a different health provider?

Any other healthcare providers requesting masks are being directed to the National Incident Room. They can be contacted via email at: health.ops@health.gov.au. These requests must state your organisation's need for masks. NDIS providers can directly contact NDISCOVIDPPE@health.gov.au and commonwealth funded aged care providers can directly contact AgedCareCOVIDPPE@health.gov.au for PPE requests.

Where can my health service source other PPE supplies?

Guidance is available on COVID-19 swab collection (DoH) and collection of nasal and throat swabs for respiratory virus testing (NSW Health).

The Australian Government Department of Health provisions PPE to Primary Health Networks. Please be aware that Primary Health Networks have only been supplied with surgical and P2 masks for eligible health providers.

Other PPE can be sourced directly from suppliers

If you are a general practice, ACCHS or community pharmacist (or you are an allied health provider, After Hours GP Home Visiting Services, Medical Deputising Service or nurse-practitioner led primary care practice and you cannot source supplies of surgical masks commercially) please complete the form below for mask requests.
