WHOS Hawkesbury

A non-residential alcohol and other drug day rehabilitation program for individuals in the region. Services include: 

  • Intake, assessment, and treatment planning 
  • Individual Counselling 
  • Case-management and support 
  • Non-residential day rehabilitation group programs  
  • Aftercare and relapse prevention 
  • Clients with complex and multiple needs may receive more intensive supported care. 
  • Indigenous specific support and programs.  

Service-specific criteria

  • Individuals, aged 18 and over, seeking community-based support and treatment for AOD substance dependency issues.
  • Living or working in the Hawkesbury area and the wider the Nepean Blue Mountains region.
  • Services are provided free of charge, as is breakfast and lunch each day.

Referral

  • Self-referral
  • Referrals from other agencies and GPs

People can walk in or attend a prearranged appointment, for ease of access initial assessment can be undertaken by telephone.
