Community Wellbeing GrantsGrassroots community connection activities can help mental health and healing from the bushfires.

The Nepean Blue Mountains Primary Health Network has received funding for community grants that promote community-led mental health, social and emotional wellbeing, and capacity building activities. The grants will allow communities to choose their own way to respond to the losses, anxiety and distress they have experienced, as well as actively participate in their recovery. 

Hawkesbury Be & Co.: A pop-up social event offering free coffee and conversation. Be & Co. focuses on community connectedness and reducing social isolation. During COVID-19, Be & Co. will be offering weekly zoom sessions.

Lithgow and Hawkesbury Farmers Online Project: Taking the 'Farmers and Friends Online' project completely online during COVID-19, participants will have access to a 'Tech Mate' that can help them with digital tasks such as ordering groceries and staying connected with family and friends.
