April Workshop

Thank you to everyone who participated in our first Workshop held on Friday 5 April, 2024. The Right care, first time, where you live team have been busy working on the next steps for the project.

Workshop 1 Summary

The Workshop 1 Summary Report is available for review. 

Governance and Systems Modelling Working Group Formation

During the last month, we formed the Governance Committee and the Systems Modelling Working Group. Following an expression of interest process to all young people who were interested in the Right care, first time, where you live project, seven young people have joined across the two groups.

• The Governance Committee met for the first time on 3 May 2024 and discussed Workshop 1, the interventions for the model and the two upcoming workshops.

• The Systems Modelling Working Group met for the first time on 10 May 2024, with the meeting focusing on the data collected so far and early model developments.

Venue Change for Workshops 2 and 3

Considering the wet weather we have experienced of late and to mitigate further interruptions, we have decided to change venues for our next two workshops. Workshops 2 and 3 will now be held at Penrith Panthers Leagues Club, 123 Mulgoa Rd, Penrith on the following dates:

• Workshop 2: Friday 9 August 2024, from 9:30am to 4:00pm
• Workshop 3: Friday 18 October 2024, from 9:30am to 4:00pm
