Permanent Part Time Senior Medical Receptionist

MyHealth North Richmond is looking for a Permanent Part Time Receptionist to work 16 hours a week to help provide exceptional customer service and support our patients in a welcoming environment.
About the role
In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of our medical practice. In addition to shifts during the week the successful applicant must be available to cover Saturdays and Sundays when needed and be able to provide additional leave coverage to cover for sick or annual leave, as needed.
What you'll be doing:
- Greeting and welcoming patients
- Scheduling and managing patient appointments efficiently
- Handling patient enquiries, both in person and over the phone, with professionalism and empathy
- Maintaining accurate patient records and documentation
- Assisting with various administrative tasks to support the smooth operation of the practice
- Collaborating with the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience
What the practice is looking for
Essential:
- Full Australian working rights.
- A genuine interest in the healthcare sector and a commitment to providing high-quality patient care.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work under pressure and resolve issues efficiently.
Preferred:
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar customer service-focused role within the healthcare industry.
- Proficiency in using medical practice management software and other relevant computer applications.
