Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District (NBMLHD) are seeking interest from VMO/VMO GP Authorised Practitioners to support the provision of Voluntary Assisted Dying (VAD) services to patients in NSW.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified medical practitioners for the above position in the Nepean Blue Mountains Local Health District. The primary location of this position will be negotiable.

Successful applicants will be Visiting Medical Officer (VMO) / VMO - General Practitioners and will provide expert medical assessment and management of people requesting access to voluntary assisted dying (VAD) under the NSW Voluntary Assisted Dying Act 2022 as part of the NBMLHD VAD Service.

This role will be part of a pool of specialists that will fulfil the Coordinating, Consulting and or Administering Practitioner roles within the VAD process.
