Essential Skills Education
is a 2-hour on demand online activity, using video footage of expert AOD practitioners to demonstrate techniques that can be used to enhance the conversations GPs have with patients about their alcohol and drug use.
Essential Skills will support GPs to better screen for alcohol and drug use, assess patients’ readiness for change and determine appropriateness of referring to alcohol and other drug treatment services.
This on demand activity is available until 31 July.
The AOD Essential Skills Education is accredited for CPD in the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) 2020-2022 Program.
