Physiotherapist (private practice) - Musculoskeletal and Sports

22 September 2021

First Choice Spinal & Sports Physiotherapy is seeking a self-motivated and passionate Physiotherapist to work in their Lawson Clinic. This will be the perfect opportunity for a new graduate or someone with more experience. The practice values trust, empowerment and passion for Physiotherapy. Newly graduated physiotherapists will receive mentoring and training in a friendly and supportive learning environment. This will include in-services and supervised treatment sessions depending on your professional needs. Experienced physiotherapists will have the opportunity to participate in in-services to help with continuing professional development.

About the clinic

The clinic has a private treatment room, a spacious and well equipped gym with a Pilates reformer, treadmill, rower, bike, and a wide range of weights including a squat rack.

About the role

The role will enable you to build your skills and confidence working with a diverse caseload, including sports, musculoskeletal, occupational health, Workers Compensation and NDIS participants. You’ll mainly work in the clinic 1:1 with patients and run small group exercise classes, but also conduct some home visits. Within the role there is access to ongoing PD opportunities and collaboration with our network of GPs, surgeons, and Exercise Physiologists. You’ll also get to work alongside an excellent team of local GPs.

The clinic is looking for an immediate start, but will be flexible for the right candidate.

The role is a Part-Time position (20 hours, 2-3 days per week) with flexible work hours. There will be the opportunity to work some Saturdays once weekend sports return.

Remuneration will be dependent on experience but will be above award rates and include a generous CPD allowance provided it’s relevant to your caseload. A higher rate of pay can be negotiated if you wish to be employed as a contractor.
