Receptionist (Allied Health)

First Choice Spinal & Sports Physiotherapy is seeking a caring and enthusiastic casual/part-time receptionist to join their team.
The owner and Physiotherapist, Jason, will provide training to help you feel confident and supported in the role. Experience not essential but highly regarded. Employment is classed as casual and paid in accordance with the Health Professionals & Support Services Employees in Private Medical Practices Award. A bonus of the position is having access to the practice's gym - including Pilates equipment.
Hours include:
Monday 9am-1pm, Tuesday 9am-5pm, and Thursday 9am-5pm. Hours may be flexible for the right candidate so that you can fit in other commitments around work. There is potential for additional hours as the clinic continues to grow, or the possibility of job sharing if you only require part-time hours.
Duties include:
- taking bookings over the phone and managing online bookings
- responding to email enquiries
- taking payments using an EFTPOS terminal
- invoicing
- writing medical reports (from a dictaphone); and
- basic cleaning.
Selection criteria
Essential criteria:
- Organized and punctual
- Previous customer service experience
- Computer literacy
Desirable criteria:
- Allied health or medical centre experience
- Mature minded, friendly and responsible
- Ability to prioritize tasks (training provided)
- Willing to learn new tasks.
