2025 Nurse Immunisation Scholarships
We are funding scholarships to support registered nurses, enrolled nurses and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health practitioners working in general practice, residential aged care homes or Aboriginal medical services in our region to complete the Benchmarque Group's Immunisation Course for Health Professionals to become an approved immunisation provider.
Background
Nurses play an essential role in supporting national immunisation programs, including education, advocacy and vaccine delivery. This training will help strengthen local capacity to provide vaccinations to vulnerable members of our communities. The course is based on the National Immunisation Education Framework for Health Professionals and is accredited by Health Education Services Australia (HESA).
Eligibility
- Registered nurses and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health practitioners in the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury, Lithgow and Penrith local government areas.
- Enrolled nurses working in general practice in the Blue Mountains, Hawkesbury, Lithgow and Penrith local government areas, if they are supported by a registered nurse who has completed an immunisation course.
- Please note: Previous scholarship recipients will not be eligible to apply.
Scholarship Application Process
- Review the course information on the Benchmarque Group's website to ensure you meet the admission requirements and technical requirements.
- Complete the expression of interest form below.
- We will notify you via email regarding the outcome of your application.
- If approved, we will then send you the information required to apply for the course as a funded position.
- We will then email you login details to access the course within three working days. You should be ready to commence the course immediately.
- Benchmarque Group will advise you that your course enrolment is active and will send reminders to complete the course within the specified time frame.
Please note, there are no transfer of applications once enrolled.
